The developer behind the commits
I'm a Backend Engineer at Etiqa Insurance and Takaful, where I build and maintain Java (Spring Boot) services, design RESTful APIs, and support production systems used across the business. Before that, I built a full-stack onboarding platform as a Full Stack Developer Intern at Moomoo Securities Malaysia.
I graduated with a Bachelor of Computer Science (Hons.) from Universiti Teknologi MARA, making the Dean's List five semesters running. Outside of backend work, I've built an NLP-based scam detector, dabbled in cybersecurity (I'm a Rocheston Certified Cybersecurity Engineer), and led technical and multimedia operations for community volunteering programmes.
When I'm not writing code: chess, martial arts, and games — all of which have taught me more about patience and pattern recognition than most textbooks.

- Developed and maintained Java (Spring Boot) backend features following Jira workflows, and implemented RESTful APIs supporting business requirements.
- Performed SQL data extraction for BAU tasks such as internal reporting and user inquiries, gaining hands-on exposure to production environments, system integration, and Git version control.
- Built a web application to streamline internal employee onboarding and offboarding, improving operational efficiency and data management.
- Led both front-end and back-end development, working across web frameworks, database management, and system integration.
- Maintained an open channel to address non-resident student concerns and ensure their well-being and welfare.
- Coordinated essential services including food basket distribution and daily meals for students in need.
- Contributed to organizing and facilitating sports-related events and programmes on campus.
- Designed promotional posters and social media graphics to advertise upcoming events.
